Principal's Message

Hello Silver Lake Families,

Welcome to Silver Lake Elementary. I’m your proud principal, Kelly Sutton. I’ve been with FWPS since 2018 and this is my fourth year at Silver Lake. Education is my passion. I was taught at a young age that our minds are powerful and to strive to break the mold – Be MORE than Expected.

 

Our schoolwide theme this year is BELIEVE. The power of hope/believing is the fuel to utilizing the gifts, talents, and skills that are within our community, our staff, and most importantly, our scholars. With our vision to create life-long learners who are exceptionally prepared to be leaders of our future, we are committed to (1) accelerating scholar and staff success, (2) honoring all voices, (3) cultivating inclusivity, and (4) growing through supportive systems.

 

As a Silver Lake community member, you can look forward to family engagement nights like Math/Literacy Night, Multicultural Assemblies, and Impact Nights. Impact Nights are new this school year. We will intentionally celebrate the scholars who are growing their skills in the classrooms!
